The hot forged ironwork I produce uses traditional blacksmithing techniques. By combining both traditional blacksmith techniques with contemporary design I am able to produce innovative and original work for both internal and external environments.

I draw my inspiration from a personal interest in powerful, dynamic lines taken from both contemporary and traditional architecture. When designing I incorporate these strong structural lines to provoke directional movement throughout the piece and compliment both the positive and negative shapes produced.

I intend my work to evoke a sense of direction and fluidity to the viewer, attracting the observer's attention to different sections that are explored in much greater detail.
